This is one of my favorite hotels. I stay here for work a few times per month and have never had a bad experience. The front desk personnel are so friendly and helpful and really make me feel welcome and important. The restaurant is good, espresso excellent and the neighborhood is nice for a stroll. Being away from family for work can be lonely but being able to stay at the Fort Sutter, I feel comfortable, productive and relaxed. It’s my home away from home!

The check in experience was really cool; from the friendliness of Mickey and Nivea at the front deck, to walking into the room and seeing my name on the tv screen. The room was very nice with a great bed, nice view, and spacious bathroom, even two sitting areas. We went to the New Year’s Eve party the restaurant/bar was having and had a lot of fun. I was especially impressed with how Allison at the front desk handled all the late night partiers trying to get to their rooms after midnight. Overall a true 5-star experience.

A perfect hotel for business travel.
Right off highway 99 and easy to access. I parked in the public lot next to the hotel and my rental car was safe and secure.
The rooms were a nice size with a fabulous room robe to use for post shower and lounging. I love a good hotel robe!
My colleague and I ate at the hotel bar for dinner and the salmon, Mac and cheese and burrara with bread was a perfect meal with our cocktails after a long day of work.
We even ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and the scones and Avocado 🥑 toast hit the spot.
The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful with questions about the neighborhood and parking.
We sadly didn’t have time to stroll the neighborhood because of time and rain. But I could see returning and enjoying city walks another time.

The Fort Sutter Hotel was clean and stylish. The staff was friendly and helpful (Nyah at the front desk was great!!).

But perhaps the best part of my stay was grabbing breakfast (cappuccino with a bacon and avocado omelette - both were excellent) at the hotel bar. There, I encountered a bar tender with the most extraordinary food delivery timing skills I’ve ever witnessed in all my extensive travels. Well done Lindsey… well done ;).

* I initially wrote a negative review of this hotel, but the hotel manager called almost immediately to make it right. Excellent management response, so I'm updating my review.*

The rooms themselves are modern and spacious. They appeared to be well-kept. The hotel's location was excellent and the bar/restaurant had good food and service. There is a public parking garage next door where you can park for $18/day.

I had a disappointing interaction with whomever answered the phone when I called to question a room charge of $14. Small amount, yes, but it was meaningful to me. After she hung up on me, I posted a review here and the hotel manager called me very quickly to follow up and make it right. So, just be aware that even if you are a Hilton member - those bottles of water in the room are not gratis!

The hotel is clean and updated, but it’s located directly across from the city bus terminal. While this isn’t an issue during the day, the buses start at 4 a.m., and the loud beeping from them backing up woke us up and kept us awake. We were on the second floor, and the noise was unavoidable. Additionally, there are several lights in this area that are on all night long and shine directly into the windows. Even with the blackout curtains, the room was lit up. Because of this, I will not stay at this location again. Additionally, the room lacked a mini fridge and microwave, and there’s no on-site parking. This is my mistake for not checking as I just expected these amenities as they are usually offered.

I stayed here just for a little fun staycation in midtown and I was pleasantly surprised at the property. Everything looked really nice and the rooms were great and pretty spacious. The location is pretty decent for anything you want to do in midtown, especially Sutter’s Fort, but is a decent distance from downtown. We had a wonderful time here and definitely recommend.

Thank you! This is the my 3rd time this year at this hotel. Consistently clean and friendly staff. The front desk stands out, I have stayed at Doubletree and Embassy suites last month when this hotel was sold out, it was ok but this hotel has a clean and calm vibe about it that I enjoy. The staff here Is what makes the difference. Thank you. Rates are high sometimes but Its a solid hotel.
