Great location and spotlessly clean. Vivienne was extremely helpful, even letting me know when my room was really. I would highly recommend it. Just down the street from the town centre and the bus station. Will definitely stay in Room@87 the next time I'm in Ellesmere Port. Thank you Vivienne for a wonderful stay.

This bargain hotel is 3 miles from Liverpool where hotels can cost $200-$400 per night. It cost us only $98. The hotel is directly across the street from Bootle's Oriel RR station and an 8-minute ride into Liverpool. The location is so convenient if you don't want be in Liverpool itself.||The hotel does not have a lift. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so lots of steps. It is a self-service hotel - you receive a check-in code and punch it in the street door lock. There is no desk, but you have a 24-hour number to call if you need help. The room was basic but very clean. The bathroom had only a shower. No breakfast is served. The hotel is undergoing renovations; from the outside it looks like a construction zone - we were warned about this when we booked. The current entrance is a dank dark hallway, but that will change when the renovations are done. ||A bargain for the traveler who likes basics and stairs!

We stayed here for my partners birthday to go into Liverpool. Right across from the train station and £5 return into Liverpool. Viv the owner was very helpful. It doesn't look great from the outside but inside is lovely and very clean and warm. Very quiet area. Parking is a little difficult but eventually found a spot around the corner near the public offices. Really Good price as hotels in Liverpool city centre are so expensive.

The owner provided required details for the entrance and the first floor doors. The key of the room was in the room doors. The room was a cold, we informed the owner, who immediately informed the hotel manager who turned on the heating. After 10 PM there were a few guests which were loud, within a few minutes time, the hotel manager set everything in order. My wife was sleeping and did not even hear that. We stayed here from Sat to Sun. We parked our car on the Trinity Rd, which was for free from Sat evening to Mon morning. The owner responds quickly to the messages and I would recommend this place, especially considering the price and location.

The lower half of the building is still under going refurbishment, which means you enter the building from the side. The room it s self was very clean with comfortable beds. We had our own bathroom but I am aware some rooms have shared facilities. These were modern and also very clean.
The property is in Bootle but directly opposite the train station with a direct line to Liverpool every 15 minutes. We purchased a day ticket and travelled (10/15 minutes ride ) 3 times for £3.90. A taxi from Liverpool to the hotel cost a little over £10
Viv was very accomodating communicating via text.
I would defiantly stay there again, although I would nt recommend to anyone who has difficulty with steps.

Having gone down to Liverpool to see a concert at Anfield, I just needed a place for my wife and I to sleep over. £35 pound was a good price, the room was clean and fine, the bed was comfortable but my biggest disappointment was that I got an extra £300 taking from my account with no warning. After making a phone call to booking.com to query why, I was informed it was a damage deposit which I would get back after I have Left. I have stayed in many places in my life overnight, and never once has this happened before, so it took away my spending money and spoiled the trip.

We booked for two nights for Easter weekend.||||We paid for a soundproof room but once there we heard all sorts of noises from the room beside, getting in an out, talking, the noise of pee in the wc water, flushing, coughing, the hairdryer etc etc. And we don't think these people were doing something particular, we think they just did something normal until half past midnight but it shouldn't be our business with a soundproof room. But actually it was!||On top of that when the neighbors stopped making noises the mattress did the rest, we could feel every single spring in our back. So a disaster, a complete sleepless night!||||We sent a message to the owner that night but we had no answer and they said they didn't receive it.||||We left the room and came back home as we couldn't find any other accommodation as everything was obviously full for that weekend.||||We asked for a total refund as we had our holiday ruined by a fake advertisement but the property refused . We complained with booking.com, they initially proposed a one night refund depending wether the review was positive or not, this was the offer from the property. We were shocked that this proposal came trough Booking.com, this was unbelievable! We strongly asked for a total refund without the blackmail of a positive review, after speaking with a manager (that found unprofessional the previous proposal) and after hours spent on the phone, 6 weeks later they provided a partial refund (one night plus half of the second).||||Please be aware of this place and its positive reviews!

The room was really clean and tidy. The best part is the hotel is just opposite to the Bootle oriel railway station. ||And check in process also was quite interesting :)||But only one sad thing is no separate arrangement for drinking water.
