What an amazing experience! not only is the campsite so beautiful, but the facilities are clean, there’s plenty of space and has such an amazing view of the volcano. Anthony was so kind to us and even showed us around his farm in the morning. We learned how to make sugar cane juice and ate star fruit, litchis, and pipas from their farm! Such an amazing experience, you should definitely camp here when visiting la fortuna!

Una experiencia 20/10. Desde que entramos la atención fue excelente, vistas hermosas, rio riquísimo, con agua potable, baños y todo lo que se necesita para hacer una experiencia de camping muy agradable.

What a wonderful discovery this place was! We went because we were looking for somewhere to camp relatively close to La Fortuna Waterfall - in the end we stayed an extra day just to hang out on the campsite and farm. Antony is a wonderful host - so friendly and accommodating and informative. The campsite is new (6 months old) and his baby… but the 100acre farm has been in his family for 90 years. This stay was an absolute highlight… partly because of him and his charming hospitality but also because the farm is beautiful and it was easy to spend a day swimming and chilling by the river and just enjoying the wildlife and peace and quiet. If i could give this place 6 stars I would.

La vue du camping est magnifique sur le volcan Arenal, il y a un petit chemin qui donne accès à une vallée avec rivière. On a vu un paresseux et un toucan.

Le camping est sécurisé en pleine campagne sur le terrain du propriétaire avec toutes les commodités douche (froide mais il fait chaud), toilettes et petites cuisine, même une piscine.

Le propriétaire, Antony, nous a accueilli avec une noix de coco et de la canne à sucre. Il est très attentif et gentil. Il nous a raconté l'histoire du volcan.

What an amazing place! Highly recommend it. We arrived in the dark and in the pouring rain. Still the host was more than happy to escort us to the camping (which is located a little further away from the road, super nice and ‘wild’).
Also, he brought us some coconuts, explained some things about the farm (Cassava and Taro) and borrowed us a flashlite to search for animals in the dark. Last but not least the toilet and shower were very new and clean.
Again, highly recommend this place if you want an amazing place to wake up, some personal service from the host and the possibility to wake up next to the ‘house’ sloth ?
Owww, there are also some trails to an super old tree and/or the river so enough morning exercise if wanted

We camped at Natural Arenal Volcano Campsite for 3 nights during our stay here. Anthony was so welcoming and friendly, he showed us to our campsite and pointed out a sloth in one of the trees along the way. Throughout our stay we tried coconuts, sugar cane, caviar lemon and star fruit which are all grown on his family’s 80 acre property. It is a beautiful spot to camp and very close to the town of la Fortuna where a lot of activities are located. We would recommend this place and would definitely return. Thank you Anthony and family!

We were so lucky to come across Anthony and his families beautiful farm, the enthusiasm he had was unreal, he showed us around and we loved it! We really loved how much he cared for what he was setting up there on the farm, for people to stay and have a great time, and get a really unique experience! We saw lots of wildlife, and felt like we had the whole farm to ourselves, lots of space for cars/rooftop tents etc! And the facilities are great! We hope that anyone that stays, notices how much love goes into the farm and treats it with full respect! After 2 weeks of driving around Costa Rica, these 2 nights were our favourite!
