I love that they had fish dumplings (both soup and pan fried). The pan fried dumplings are a must. Skin is so crispy on the bottom. The steamed soup dumplings are so fragrant and contain a huge chunk of fish. Loved the taste of everything.

Mannnn this place was cool. Ngl like I'm from the south bay so it was like a 45 min drive out but I got the recommendation so I knew it would be worth it and it didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend checking this place out especially if you're already in the area. This place wasn't too crowded at like 12:30 on veterans day when I went idk what that says about how it'll be when you go but yeah. The waiters and staff were cool and I got no complaints about them but the only thing was it took a while for the waiter to come around and collect our bill but the place was busy I get it. Price wasn't toooo bad but it was just a little bit on the pricey side I felt for what you're getting. Overall though, no complaints, my man Kevin took care of us, shoutout to Kevin. Atmosphere was real nice they had like a whole library in the front lol it was located in a nice place lots of parking also had a daiso and a 99 ranch market in the same building. Definitely recommend this place, great soup dumplings 😝😝😋😋✌️.

The soup dumplings were average there . Had better ones elsewhere. The amount of soup inside wasn’t large . Sweet taste is quite usual for Wuxi region (probably the sweetest in entire China). Worth to try once. Not sure if I would go back soon.

I tasted very well cooked Wu Xi Style Rib in New York long ago, and I had never found something comparable in USA since that restaurant went out of business. So I was very excited to see the overwhelmingly good reviews of the rib in this restaurant and decided to give it a try.

I asked for it immediately after I was seated, and it was served in few (2 or 3) minutes. I was really surprised as this dish usually takes long time to prepare. The waiter told me it was cooked in advance and they just reheated it. So that's what I got: the pork was so hard and difficult to chew. Absolutely not it should be.

The waiters and waitresses were very friendly. But we noticed one waiter wiping the floor with his bare hands just beside us. When we asked for some food, he served it without washing hands. That was disgusting!

So, this was totally a horrible experience, and I will never try to challenge my luck again.

It's been a while since I've been here. I've always gone when there were very few people. On a Friday night though, they were so busy with other people. Me and my friends were off in the corner, and barely got any attention when we needed things. That was kinda' annoying. Yes, they were busy with clearing out tables to fit more in, and handling all sorts of orders, but they totally just left us there. Honestly, that's fine, but if you tell me I need to give you a 15-minute heads up on the dessert 釀酒園子, when I wave my hand and yell for some help, why can't I get some attention? Maybe I wasn't loud & obnoxious to get my way? Sorry, then. And the bill took a while too. Honestly, on a Friday night where everything else in the center was nearly dead, this place was packing and proves its popularity. For me though, I'd rather call-in and order out. I just don't like being ignored.
Other than service delays, food was honestly OK. Someone said the ribs were too hard, but honestly, they were soft enough for me, that they fell off the bone. The rice was actually cooked using pork lard, which you don't find in many restaurants, but that's actually how it's supposed to be done, and the dessert actually was tasty. ALTHOUGH, some people may think it has a sewage type smell and flavor to it, but it's actually the wine. REALLY the fermented sweet rice, mixed in with those ingredients will give it a weird flavor, but don't think the wrong way!

Stopped by about an hour before closing and seated immediately. The staff was nice. Ordered the chicken and sweet pork soup dumplings. Really like mixing the vinegar, soy sauce and chili crisp altogether. There was only a little bit of soup in the dumplings, but it was flavorful. We like these dumplings and will come back. We thought they tasted better than DTF.

This is basically a Din Tai Fung at a lower price. They have everything and more of what DTF has. I first saw this restaurant on Mike Chan’s YouTube channel where he raves about the huge XLB at this place. He said that you have to come to try this out. So my wife and I visited this place today ( 5/19/2022).

Mike Chan was right, the xiao long Bao at this restaurant is just as good as DTF. The way I can tell is that the skin on the XLB tasted exactly the same as DTF’s. They also have potstickers and scallion pancakes. But the famous item is their huge Xiao Long Bao. It’s about 9 inches big filled with crab meats and crab eggs. It’s then steamed in a bamboo steamer to create juicy fillings. You suppose to drink the soup inside the giant XLB first with a boba straw. Then you can eat the skins with the crab meat. So delicious. This is a must order when visit this restaurant.

When I said everything are just as good as DTF, the only exception is the sweet and sour ribs. The texture is about the same but the sauce is not the same at level of taste. It’s not as flavorful. I believe the cooking process has not attained that culinary level yet. The vinegar level was missing on the ribs. However, the onion pancakes were excellent with the thin and crispy skins. The regular XLB was fantastic too. I can’t tell the difference between these XLB and DTF’s.

The prices here are very reasonable. For instance, their XLB costs about 30% less than DTF, although the decoration of this place needs renovations.

They used to have bad services here but now it seemed to be very good, fast and attentive.
