We had 8 rooms booked through a wedding block, guests were supposed to receive a “group rate”. Some did, some did not. We were told the front desk would be able to adjust it if they mentioned the wedding block, the front desk had no idea what they were talking about and said there was no wedding party that weekend. One party received a “wedding goodie bag” when checking in, I the bride was given 2 water bottles. Everything was just so inconsistent. The coordinator disappeared half way through the process and the entire stay was a complete mess. This isn’t even the worst part…

The junior suite I booked smelled like mildew, the carpet by the window was SOAKING wet! Nothing was done about it, didn’t even offer to switch rooms. Still not the worse…

My truck was broken into to the morning of my wedding, they smashed my back window and threw my wedding stuff all over! no one from the hotel wanted to address it. The lady at the front desk seemed upset/aggravated when she was told what had happened. I had to BEG them for a broom and trash bag to clean up the glass in THEIR parking lot! No cameras and the police said the same thing happened a month prior and the hotel does nothing. Apparently because of the location it’s an easy target. Before leaving for my wedding the GM approached me asking for pictures, stated she was opening a case on her end and proceeded to ask for my room number so she could “handle the situation.”
The following morning before checking out, i asked if she had left a note or anything.. nothing…I asked to speak to her to see if anything would be taken care of or if there would be some sort of accommodation ..I was told I would get a call the day I checked out.. still nothing. (It’s been 2 weeks)

The car break ins weren’t the last of our concerns… several guests mentioned someone trying to enter their rooms in the middle of the night!! SCARY!!! while I was speaking to the police regarding my car another guest approached and said SOMEONE ENTERED THEIR ROOM! Sounds like an inside job!!

Completely unsafe!! I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. Especially for an important event such as a wedding.

EDIT: way to go with the Copy/Paste response to my review! It’s been 2 1/2 weeks and still no call back or response to my email…you guys are doing great!!

The front desk was atrocious the inside of the lobby and hotel.Itself had an interesting smell to it that lingered throughout the entire location. The room with the 2 queen beds is below average. The beds are semi adequate.The room decor is nonexistent. The bathroom has no vent, so when believing yourself the entire room, we'll carry that smell. After taking a shower, the entire room feels moist and humid. They have breakfast, which you can purchase for fifteen dollars that is below average, the breakfast consists of the same if god, the exact same as many hotels that give the breakfast for free.

Zero Stars! Sadly had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life staying at this hotel the past weekend. First they had no body wash (apparently on back order) so I received face wash. Fortunately there was a cvs near by so I grabbed a supply. Next, they never cleaned our room or provided additional towels - had to call front desk who was extremely annoyed. Finally, on the last day I tried to get my daughter some hash-browns from the buffet and the manager asked for my voucher. I assured them I had one and would bring it down once leaving. He wouldn’t comply, and I get it, however once I brought it to him he claimed it wasn’t good anymore. I showed him the dates and times for the voucher, yet he wouldn’t honor it. After speaking to the front desk, she agreed with the Buffett manager that we were only entitled to the bag and go breakfast that day. My voucher from yesterday clearly states I was to receive complimentary breakfast yesterday. See picture above. Without telling me why, they wouldn’t honor the voucher. I will never return to this rude, disrespectful, and dirty hotel again. Oh, and be aware of the rude front desk lady who clearly never took a hospitality course in her life — Shalyrc. I reached out to the GM and she was no more helpful. You have been warned!

I stayed here for a wedding , flew in from nyc . Upon arrival the front desk seemed annoyed that they had to work and actually check us in . We stated we were part of the wedding block and the lady seemed confused. There were multiple rooms and a large group staying here , how are you confused . Later finding out she gave only 1 wedding gift bag to one guest and not the others.
‼️OK NOW TO THE SAFETY ISSUES ‼️
There was a group of people going around and getting into peoples rooms with an extra key or just using the door handle. The problem here is the doors don’t automatically close you have to push them shut. Second why are random people having access to rooms that they didn’t book( definitely an inside job) . On the weekend we stayed here 9/14-9/16 there happened to also be a large group of teenage girls {about 50 young ladies} as well. So imagine finding out men were getting into their rooms. EXTREMELY DISTURBING ? These young ladies were there for a horse show and also a soccer game.
Second unsafe situation was the number of cars that were burglarized. One car was the bride on the day of her wedding . Can you imagine having to go through that on your special day? The hooligans were apparently looking for guns and happened to steal 2 from cars . The cops stated this has happened before at this location and the hotel refuses to do anything to protect their guest. There aren’t any cameras or security on the property.
The staff seemed so annoyed by this situation like as if it was too much to deal with . They didn’t want to take a report or help in anyone. No accommodation ZILCH!
The floor I stayed on had the smell of marijuana , this is a smoke free facility . Why did I have to smell that horrible crap. The room smelled of mildew . Someone did try to get into my room even so much as knocking at 2am saying maintenance.. I’m a female . I was so scared I screamed “GET AWAY”!
The bar if you want to call it that was an embarrassment. The food is tasteless. The drinks are overwhelming strong but not good . I want to enjoy a drink not burn my insides . I would never stay here again .
The location is very remote so an easy target . Please do not book here .

In response to the hotel response. You are flat out liars . We booked under the wedding block and didn’t receive anything
as many of the other guest . So you must have kept the bags. The parents had no involvement in the wedding or gift bags . Second we were there when people complained about someone trying to get into their rooms and some successful. This was also reported to the cops that were on site for the car burglaries that you also didn’t address. The safety of your guest is not a priority because if it was THERE WOULD BE CAMERAS AND SECURITY. This isn’t the first time cars have been burglarized and nothing was changed . People can freely walk in and nothing is done . There are numerous reviews about what I said … please do better . This is embarrassing for the Hilton brand .

Great place to stay and crew was very nice and hospitable. Breakfast is not like a buffet style, they actually waited on you. Big thanks to Chef “T” Taranda Evans she went out of her way to greet me every morning and made sure I was taken care of. She cooked my breakfast for a week with extra attention to detail of how I liked my food prepared. She deserves more for that caliber of guest service. Hope to see her and the rest of the staff again.

The staff is inconsistent with answers regarding the hotel and amenities. Got told free breakfast twice, and then told it’s $15 for breakfast when I showed up to eat. $15 for luxurious options between white toast, wheat toast, blueberry or chocolate muffin, eggs, bacon, and coffee. If it was a grand buffet okay, but $15 for what little they offer is wrong. Also, the tv in the room doesn’t work. It’s not first world problems but to be paying $200 a night for a place with less than average amenities is crazy. Not worth the price but if you need a place just for a night it works

Very kind and professional people. The room was clean and neat. The blinds totally blocked out the light for needed extra sleep. Breakfast was cooked to order and was spot on. The waitress was very kind, even offering O.J. to go. Very nice experience. The pool looked inviting, and I noticed people cleaning it each day. The hotel is in a great location for jumping onto the highway or getting food from local restaurants and supermarkets.

We had planned a staycation for this weekend months out. Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton affected us, and also the hotel. We were told that we could not stay this weekend, which is acceptable because they said that the hotel took damage, and was running only on emergency generators. As someone who also took damage from the Hurricanes, this made sense. But, what is unacceptable is that given the circumstance, not to be willing to let us either move the reservation or give us a refund is robbery. This behavior is unacceptable and downright gross from a company as large as Hilton. To refuse services and to refuse flexibility to a couple that is also dealing with the aftermath of 2 hurricanes is shameful.
