Just about any time I look for hotels in the LA or San Diego area, the following applies. If it's cheaper, it's not in good condition or rundown and/or not in a safe area. This hotel is definitely the exception. Very clean, looks brand new inside and out. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and clean. The beds were a bit firm for my liking, however just my personal preference. This location is in a residential area and is very close to shopping and dining.

who gave them 4 stars? they probably drew 2 themselves!! from the entrance you are greeted by a terrible smell like in a nursing home. mold in the bathroom! everything is old... they save on everything. well and lastly, be prepared that at breakfast they will watch you, so that you do not take a banana or an apple with you!!!! where have you ever seen such a thing that in a 4 star hotel they do not allow you to take food with you a nightmare 🤦 I will never come back and I do not recommend it to you!!!!

Stood here one night was skeptical when pulled up. The property has no POOL and looks like a converted motel.
But was pleasant surprised! As soon as you walked in, Orlando was welcoming and let us see the room before we checked in . He was helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service!
The room was SUPER CLEAN and the cleaning lady gave me extra warm towels.
They also give you slippers, and a robes, Fancy😁
I will be staying here again .
The only reason not 5 starts is again, and there is no pool or bar.
But great comfy beds .

The room is new and clean,location good.. but the noise insulation is terrible. you can hear your upper floor people walk. go to bathroom every single sound.. clearly.. i say clearly your neighbors sleep sound and talking as well.. very bad sound insulation.. except this one.. anything else is ok.. 😅 only noise insulation very bad.. very bad. horrible.Unacceptable.

Excellent job on earning my very first negative google review in last 30 years.
Convenient location close to I-10 and a shopping plaza. Pretty clean. All staff were friendly except the Asian front desk guy. Everything was ok till I came back to the front desk asking for a non smoking room, which was right after I checked out my room. He claimed “all rooms are nonsmoking “. But there’s an unbelievable strong smell. He went to check out the room and gave me another room. The way he gave me the room keys was totally in an eye opening way. He put the keys right in my face with a big eye roll . If there’s no smell in the room, why did he give me another room? Should I be blamed for asking for a room with no smoking smell?
I did see his super friendly smile with other non Asian customers , which was hidden very well since I walked in the lobby. Stay away from this place if you don’t plan to be silent with the smoking smell, or you happen to have an Asian face that is similar to his own. Overall it’s not bad if you are smart enough to avoid his shift . The front desk guy in the next morning was fine.
