Hubby and I went to have breakfast at Colonial Kitchen after passing by it driving down Huntington Drive when going into Pasadena. It's a lovely little diner and a hangout spot for the old and the young! They have multiple seating options, booths, tables, and they even have bar and outdoor seating. When walking in, to your right there is a room called "The Elvis Room" which looks very cozy and romantic, but I am not sure if that is reserved for specific events or by request/reservation. We ordered the usual breakfast meals and it was wonderful! The service definitely could have been a bit more proactive as we had to consistently flag our server down or look around to see if there was someone to help us. I will definitely be going back again, but I hope the next time is even better!

This place is like going back to the 1960's and early 70's! Even the music played made it feel dated. I went in around 9AM and there was about 10-people inside. Based on reviews I had read, I went for the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with toast, hash brown potatoes and orange juice. The orange juice was great! The over-easy eggs were properly cooked. The chicken fried steak was "meh." If you ever had a "real" chicken fried steak and white gravy in the south, you'd be greatly disappointed. Batter needed some seasoning, and the steak was nothing to brag about. The hash browns had a nice taste to them but were a bit undercooked. The white toast could have used more time toasting, as well. Price minus tip came to $24. I think I would have preferred to eat at a Denny's if I had the choice.

Had breakfast with the family. Loved the place from the moment I walked in. The bacon was cooked perfect and the food and service was so good we came back for dinner. Best rack of lamb ever! Highly recommend!

Went for brunch, very nice and extensive menu. They even have an old fashion lunch counter. Very efficient wait staff.

I had the salsa omelet with a funky potato style hash with peppers and onions, very good. My wife ordered the pancakes and she liked them.

Had a lovely breakfast on a Tuesday morning! Gabby and Jesus provided fantastic service, which has convinced me to become a regular!
If you’re ever craving delicious breakfast don’t hesitate to order their hash browns -you won’t be disappointed!

The service it's good but it's not to clean the furniture it's old
The counter top super old the paint it's cheeping not stainless steel
The preparation of orange juice it's not right because they pick the oranges from the cartoon box with out clean the coffee mugs duty has marks of the old coffee
The food it's not really flavored
I think they need to reinvent the menus because everything it's old fashioned but with out flavored
But around there it's no more restaurants close so we need to stop by.

I think the city needs stopped more several times and check the activities there.
