Karren and Charlie are such fantastic attentive, fun and caring hosts. We loved our breakfasts on our private terrace with beautiful views and the whole ambience of Casa Phoenix is wonderfully relaxing. The Olive Garden room was clean, bright and cosy and we slept soundly on a very comfortable bed. It was a treat to return after sightseeing and rest by, or refresh in, the pool or read in the garden. The sunset over the mountains was glorious. This is such a tranquil place in the country but close to San Martino to enjoy the benefits of this lovely small town too. If you want a taste of unspoilt and friendly Italy, this is a great place to come.

I had the most magical stay with Karren and Charlie. They welcomed me like family and showered me with delights like freshly-squeezed orange juice and delicious breakfasts. I still dream about Karren’s incredible creations!

The Olive Garden room felt like paradise—a deck with a view of the golden light at sunrise and sunset and the Adriatic Sea on the horizon. The interior was fresh, clean, and cozy with a great bathroom.

There are beautiful walks to do right from their place, plus a lovely gelato shop not too far. Coming back to Casa Phoenix after an afternoon of adventure always felt like coming home. Thank you, Karren and Charlie, for an experience I will never forget. I can’t wait to visit again!

The most wonderful experience of our beautiful time in Molise. What a gorgeous place, with such warm and welcoming hosts. Both Karren and Charlie are wonderfully knowledgeable and also such great fun. It was the highlight of our Italy trip in October. If we could give it more stars, we would. Our recommendation is to go, experience a true slice of Italy, with the most gracious and friendly people. And I haven't even mentioned the views and Karren's food. We consider ourselves friends after just our first visit.
