I highly recommend this Campground! It was one of my favorite camping experiences so far! All the facilities: are in a great shape, very clean (cleaned very well every day!) and looking as new! Shower always had a very warm water with great pressure, which made the camping experience so much more enjoyable. As you can see in the pictures, everything is really kept nice and tidy. Each campsite has enough space for you to park your car, and set up a nice big tent. Easy access to electricity if needed. The park itself is very charming. We stayed there in November so we no longer could go into the spring as manatees were already present. But it was fun to watch them from the shore anyways. Water is crystal clear and very beautiful. If you want to have a nice camping experience, Blue Springs State Park Campground is for you!

Level site, clean bathrooms, beautiful springs.
We stayed 2 nights in site 37. The site was almost perfectly level from side to side. We liked the thick foliage surrounding most of the site. Site 37 might be a little tight for a larger camper, but it was perfect for our teardrop setup.
The bathhouse was fairly new and extremely well kept thanks to great volunteers like Anne. Thanks Anne!
We had 3+ bars on Verizon and were able to stream movies.
The nearby town seems to be a bedroom community so not a lot of things to see outside the park, but if you’re into walks, the springs boardwalk is great. It was one of the coldest weeks at the park when we were there, so we were able to see lots of manatees hanging out in the warm springs.
Great campsite and park. We’ll return next time we’re in the area.

Nice campground, heavy foliage in between sites so they are very private from your neighbor. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Only wish that all sites were paved or at least gravel… the sand is not ideal. Also, the dump station is kind of far from the road so if you don’t have a long enough hose, this could cause issues as proven when we arrived and saw a big mess…

So many manatees! Couldn’t swim with them on last visit due to the numbers but when not in season you can get into the spring. The sheer amount of fish in there is amazing! A must snorkel. Bring your bike and take a ride or just hike through the park to see the gorgeous fauna. I will plan to RV there very soon.

This beautiful 2,600-acre park is a refuge for several hundred manatees where these mermaids of the sea can rest from November to March. Visitors can see these stunning creatures and explore the largest spring from the St. Johns River. There is also the Thurby house, built in 1872, and a campground for families to stay.

Admire the manatees that call Blue Spring State Park home and snorkel, scuba, and swim in the spring. (Swimming with manatees is not permitted.) Camp with your family and hike, cycle, and explore the lush surroundings. This is one of the best places to witness nature all-year-long.

Very nice campground. The bath houses are kept very clean. The sites are good, with lots of vegetation all around. The park staff are friendly and helpful. The Blue Spring swimming area is great, but it does get pretty crowded on the weekend. Manatees are quite frequent. Location is good - 25 minutes over to New Smyrna Beach, maybe an hour to Orlando. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in Deland/Orange City area.

Nice campground. Fairly private sites surrounded by trees. I stayed in site number 26. It has a large area for a tent or hammock as well as room for a smaller travel trailer. It's only level for about 25 feet then the driveway slopes down. The spigot for water wasn't functioning properly but there was a second valve that worked instead. The bathrooms are decently clean. Main complaint is they lock the family restroom/shower early, so if you are trying to help your spouse wash a baby or a disabled family member to use the private restroom you have to do it before 6 pm or so. Otherwise only the men's and women's rooms are open. The spring is very nice and the park is well staffed compared to some of the other springs in the central Florida area. There were quite a few open sites even though the campground website shows as fully booked. So I think there are a lot of no shows.

Sites are big, lots of foliage between sites. Very quiet, shady and woodsy. Love it! Easy to bike or walk to the spring.
