My son is going to a 1-week overnight camp session for the first time this summer. The check-in process is just that, a process. It will take no less than 2 hours to get through it but the thoroughness I very much appreciated. Especially when it comes to my child. The campus is very nice and well maintained. They have so many activities available for the kids (archery, horseback riding, skate park, pools, rock climbing walls, etc). Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

We had a church and worship revival today! The facilities are so very well kept! The bathroom, at least for the girls, are super clean and fresh! The Outdoor meeting spaces are so huge and spacious! Great for any large gatherings

Camp War Eagle has it all! I was able to work with Jake to organize a student retreat in the off season. We were the only group on site apart from CWE staff, and we were well taken care of during our visit. The cooks prepared wholesome meals, and they were responsive to our dietary restrictions. We enjoyed their low ropes and high ropes teambuiding activities, laser tag, and the rock climbing wall. This was only a small fraction of what they have to offer at Camp War Eagle. This place is definitely worth a visit for staff and student/youth retreats.

Looking back I I see how inappropriate that military guy from Texas A&M, who was some sort of administrator full-time for the camp treated us basically unpaid Volunteers. Completely inappropriate and absolutely rude behavior.

Camp counselors completely degraded my daughter, intentionally made her cry when she was already upset. Camp director was no help either. I finally got a return call a week later. Used to be a great camp but has seriously gone down hill.

Rude give u horrible food like ur in jail can’t talk to ur parents at all or go home they say ur doing good even if ur not if u get hurt or anything they don’t tell ur parents they just act like it’s normal once u walk through the gate u can’t leave at all or call ur parents it’s against there “policy” they said horrible it’s not what they say it is

My son has the most amazing time at camp war eagle! We are so grateful for this camp and the people who run it. We love that it is a Christian camp also, full of kindness and talking openly about Jesus while allowing kids to ask questions about the Bible. What a wonderful thing for our youth to experience!
