We've been taking our pets to Best Friends for a while now because the "dog friendly" hotels at Disney are no where close to as good for pets as the ones at Universal (to be fair, Disney made their hotels dog friendly after the fact whereas Universal built their hotels with the pets in mind.)
Bacini has stayed in each level of the suites. We like the fact that the suites come with cameras so that we can check on him day or night and get that peace of mind. We also like that we can come by at any time (day or night) to take him outside for a walk and to spend time with him.
On our most recent stay we also bought the "bed time story" upgrade, and as you can see from the photos, he was a big fan! Nothing but praise for the staff at Best Friends.

I have to give an honest opinion of this place. I took my boy Rottweiler there, he is a year and 6 months old and is not neutered yet due to a heart condition. They met him and things went good until we put him in the room. He was in a room that had dogs that were really loud and not happy sounding. He was left there and we were called to be told that they couldn't get in the room to walk him and do play time. This was his 1st time being away from us and his 1st time in any sort of kennel, which we explained to them in great detail. We go back and find that they now say he is aggressive for jumping when they come to the door. He goes back the next day, has a female and a larger room in a quieter section. He did great that time, no issues at all. Next day back into the loud villa side and he was a nervous wreck. More "aggressive" bs. Next day, back in the other side and did great. This place says they deal with dogs and even train them. No thank you. I feel like it is a place that takes the dogs in and they don't give enough attention, they sure as he'll don't listen to basic info and they are not as wonderful as they look. We will not be going back. Today I took this "agressive" dog to the beach in St. Pete and he met lots of people and had a blast. As we drove closer to the exit where this place is, he started shaking. The people are nice enough, but I don't feel like they put real time into the animals. For 140/150 a day, it was more than my hotel room and was only for 6 hours a day. Not worth the cost and animal distress it caused.

Took great care of my Mya. I was very hesitant leaving my girl as I’ve never used a boarding care place before but they took great care of her! They obviously love our pets as much as we do!. We will be back!

Shadow as been a member of the Canine Crew Day Camp at Best Friends Pet Hotel for the past year. The camp and staff are the best! Shadow is a two year old golden retriever and still has lots of energy. When we tell her it is time to go to camp, she runs to the car in excitement.Shadow loves playing inside and outside at the camp with her friends.There is always a pet attendant on hand and we like that there is a webcam so we can check in to see how she is doing. Best Friends is highly recommended for day camp, boarding, and grooming.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of my 3,pups!!!!!!!This was the first time that I’ve left them and it was such a wonderful experience. Every staff member was beyond understanding and extremely friendly. Made me feel very comfortable . They fed the girls exactly per directions each one has strict dietary needs and the staff member insured every morning to take specific notes for each dog! They even brushed out my long haired yorkie after her walks. Their visit was magical for us but especially our pups. The pups were eager to go every morning and were so happy when we picked them up and we got updates on their walks and meals and how they did during their stay. Thank you all. You are all beyond awesome!!! 5 +++++stars.

We just left our almost 2yr old lab at the Walt Disney Best Friend pet resort. Amazing caring sweet staff members. It’s so nice to know our fur baby is well care for so we can enjoy our trip. They even called to offer giving her some chicken broth when she wasn’t eating at first. They took great care of her during the hurricane. Can’t say enough great things about them.

The staff at Best Friends takes the best care of my dogs! Over the last two years, they have become the only place I am comfortable leaving my beloved pets. We love the cleanliness of the facilities as well as the wide variety of services - from Grooming to Boarding to Day Care/Camp. The extended hours are incredibly beneficial and flexible based on personal schedules. Can't recommend them enough!

If we could give 10 stars we would. My husband and I stay at Disney multiple times a year and bring our Yorkie. The morning staff are so courteous and caring, and we cannot say enough nice things. Our Yorkie practically jumps out of the car when we arrive as she is so excited to be there. She spends most of the day in a supervised play group which she loves, and at the end of the day we are given a report card about how her day went. The evening staff are also so friendly and kind. Everyone seems to treat the animals as if they were their own, which reinforces the trust in us that she will be well taken care of. Everyone deserves a memorable Disney vacation, even the pups!
