The perfect day!
I don't know where to begin describing how perfect our wedding day was at Auchen Castle.
From start to finish, the team at Auchen Castle were amazing. We live pretty far away, so having the All Taken Care of Package took the stress out of finding trusted suppliers.
The venue inside and outside is beautiful in any season and had so much for our guests to explore and enjoy. We did the 'Linger Longer' addition to celebrate with our guests on the Friday night ahead of the wedding on Saturday, and I would really recommend it. All of the food was exceptional, and special dietary requirements were provided for with no fuss.
But most of all, it's the team at Auchen Castle that really made our day perfect. They couldn't do enough for us. We had a lot of surprises and intricacies that had to be choreographed perfectly throughout the day. They took all the stress away and nailed it! It was a jam packed day but it ran completely to time, and everything went smoothly.
I cannot recommend having your wedding at Auchen Castle enough. A huge thank you to the team for going above and beyond!

What an amazing experience. My brother and sister inlaw got married on 08/11/24. And I couldn't fault a single thing. The wedding was beautiful and out of this world, I have never been to a wedding like this one. There was so much thought gone into it. The staff were very friendly, approachable and went the extra mile to make your stay the best. And the food was just outstanding. The castle and grounds were beautiful and a real sight to see. I have never experienced anything like it. Cleanliness was high proprietary. Thank you to all the staff. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone.

We got married at Auchen Castle last month and it was an incredible day. I can’t thank everyone enough for making my vision come true and for being so accommodating. Our day ran perfectly, and it was everything we could have asked for and more. The staff are all absolutely incredible and so friendly, which make the venue that much more special. Special shout out to Sarah, Lynne and Fiona who are the absolute dream team and are so lovely.

The Castle itself is absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated and the surroundings make the perfect setting. The accommodation is brilliant and was so handy to have and we were able to make a weekend of it which was exactly what we wanted. The food is amazing, and there is so much variety to please everyone. Our guests absolutely raved about our day, they loved the castle.

As a bonus it’s a dog friendly which meant we were able to have our pups celebrate with us on our big day. It meant the world to us to have them there.

I couldn’t recommend the castle more if you’re looking for a venue, the staff, setting, food, accommodation and everything else was a 10/10 and if we could do it all over again we would!

My husband and I got married at Auchen Castle last week and what an experience! I visited the venue early in January 2022 and never even bothered to look anywhere else, we knew straight away it was the venue for us.||It’s absolutely stunning inside and the bedrooms are all so lovely and clean. The meal was honestly the best we have ever had and so many of our quests commented the same thing. The ceremony room with the big fireplace is what sold it for us, it was the most perfect setting.||The staff were all such a pleasure to deal with too. Our wedding was originally booked for June this year but we had to cancel because my mum passed away and everyone was so kind and understanding so it made us eager to rebook with them. They were brilliant at answering emails and calls, nothing was soo much hassle for them and the put us both so at ease.||They also arrange so many of your suppliers depending on the package so this took so much stress off of us, our flowers, cake and piper were all incredible. ||On the day they made everything run so smoothly and the whole day was just an absolute dream come true, if you are considering Auchen then absolutely do it, I could not have pictured getting married anywhere else!

Auchen Castle is a beautiful venue. But it's not just the architecture and interiors that make it impressive - the staff there are extremely impressive, too.|From the moment my husband and I first visited Auchen, we knew we were on to a winner. The private tour was easy to book online and we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. From the in-house wedding coordinators to the cleaning staff, it's clear to see that everyone there has a real pride and passion for what they do; marked in their friendliness and responsiveness.|The 'all taken care of' package really was a joy and made complete sense for our budget, party size and needs - all at amazing value. It was wonderful to have so many of our guests stay with us at the castle, too. |We've been emailing the castle for years as we planned and saved up for our wedding. No question we asked ever felt too small and responses were always thorough and forthcoming. |When it came to the wedding weekend itself, we knew that we'd be in completely safe hands and we were not wrong. Anchored by that friendliness we first experienced on our first tour, our guests all felt completely at ease and at home. My father-in-law uses a wheelchair and the staff were so thoughtful and considerate ensuring that his needs were met, from giving us access ramps to use, to making sure his chair could be accommodated when we were formally sat. From experience, these things aren't always considered, but the fact that they were is another clear example of the caring nature of all who work at Auchen. |I'd like to thank everyone at Auchen for all their hard work. I feel like I've made genuine friends with you and I can't thank you enough for giving us a wedding weekend that we won't ever forget.

Auchen Castle is such a gorgeous location for a wedding - the staff are so kind and attentive and it feels like the whole venue is your castle for the weekend!

You really don't have to go far for your wedding photos either - I just took my couple outside a few times on their wedding day, and we got pictures with the mountains and the castle without leaving their wedding behind.

I got married at Auchen Castle last week and I'm STILL buzzing about it. The staff worked so hard to make sure my whole wedding day was seamless. Throughout the planning process Lynne and Sarah were incredibly responsive and worked hard to customize things to our wants and needs. This was a destination wedding for us and Auchen helped stitch every detail from the flowers to the makeup artist to the DJ to the cake. On the day of, Sarah and Fiona were master orchestrators making sure every detail was in place and addressed without stressing me out. I'm absolutely in love with the memories I made while at Auchen on my wedding day. The food, staff, and location were all amazing.

My words will never do Auchen Castle and the whole staff justice! You only need to look at the other reviews and the Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Award to understand how special this place is.||I lost count of the number of guests who said "This is the best wedding we have ever been to".||Where is the option for more than 5 stars ?. ||Our wedding was 2 years in planning. We visited every castle and every inch of Scotland on the hunt for that magical place that could accommodate our requirements and be an encompassing one-stop shop.||We opted for 'All taken care of package' and took advantage of having 2 nights at Auchen with a BBQ on the first evening as our guests were flying in from all over the world. ||Let me tell you all something, you get the 'all taken care of package' and about a million other surprises and gestures. ||I do not say this lightly, you get treated like royalty.||On our quest to find Auchen Castle, we instantly fell in love when we saw the venue, but immediately knew we hit the jackpot after we first met the staff. ||I visited so many other places and felt people were just doing their job and going through the motions, but not with the staff at Auchen. ||We opted for all the amazing suppliers that work closely with Auchen and again, we were blown away. Some of the suppliers ranged from makeup artists, photographers, decor, cakes, flying owls, pipers, harpists, cèilidh bands, and fireworks just to name a few.||Everyone commented on how slick everything was and the amount of things always going on. ||The real beauty was the crazy amount of tireless work going on from every member of staff and you would never even know anyone was there - That is an art.||We added some external suppliers to the mix including a magician, bar singer, caricaturist, firepit company and a content creator. Some had worked at Auchen previously but all were like one of the team.||I don't want to go too deep into all the amazing things, because I don't want to take away the magic from yourself... Let's face it, if you're lucky enough to have found Auchen Castle, you might as well of won the lottery. The romance will bowl you off your feet! You have found your place❤️ ||You genuinely cannot pay for this level of precision, attention to detail, professionalism, flexibility and dedication, but it appears you can at Auchen! ||We were made to feel like our wedding was the only wedding in existence. With everything combined and a sprinkle of Auchen magic, this is exactly how fairy tale weddings are made. Auchen Castle made our dreams come true...
