The location is super convenient, especially if you’re heading to Disney, but the room itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. The carpet felt pretty dated, so I found myself keeping my shoes on inside. That said, the space was practical, with a little sitting area, an extra TV, and plenty of sleeping supplies, which could be great for families on a budget needing extra space for the kids. However, if you’re looking for something a bit more modern and cozy—especially for a couples’ getaway—this might not be the best fit. I’ve stayed at other hotels on the same strip that offer a nice mix of comfort and updated style. Overall, it’s a decent option for a budget-friendly stay near Disney!

We stayed here for our family’s Disneyland trip for a week. It was a great experience. I booked many months in advance online and they never lost my reservation or had any issues. My two year old daughter enjoyed her roll in crib they were happy to provide ($10 per night). The cleaning crew did a great job cleaning our room everyday which was so nice to come back to each night. Large mini fridge and great microwave were perfect. We also door dashed some groceries and water bottles as well as ordered pizza and the front desk let us know immediately when our items arrived. During peak shower times, up on the topmost 5th floor, sometimes hot water was quick to leave the shower but that’s to be expected. Checked out by calling the front desk and leaving our room key.

When we needed a shuttle, we called the hotel and they recommended Peter’s team at Grand Transportation.

Peter and his team took good care of us. We got his information from the Anaheim Desert Inn Hotel across the street from Disneyland. We couldn’t Uber because we were a large group and one of our group needed a car seat, which Grand Transportation was happy to provide. They took us both ways, to and from John Wayne Airport and our hotel. He communicated via phone call and text promptly and was on time or early for every pickup! Definitely will use again and would recommend to anyone. I’ve got his number saved in my phone for next time!

We would definitely stay there again. It's immaculately clean and the location cannot be beat. We had a suite with two queen beds and a separate room with a sofa bed that turned out to be completely comfortable. The maids came everyday and the room was always completely cleaned.
It is a little smaller than your average Marriott room but it was totally comfortable.

The Desert Inn is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Disneyland. The representives at the front desk were very professional, especially Daniel who made sure my room adjustment was taken care of. I needed to add an additional day to both my room as well as my son's family. He was able to ensure I was able to stay in one room for the full 4 day stay as well as having my son and his family in a connecting room. My son recommended the Desert Inn as he and his family have stayed their many, many times. This was my first time staying at the Desert Inn and I will stay at no other facility in my future visits to Disneyland.||Just two recommendations:|Begin the breakfast at 6:30 am and bring back the waffle machine!!!||Thank you Desert Inn for a great vacation ! My family loves staying here. It's so close to the parks! We stay in the Parlor Suite and it's nice to have the extra room. The breakfast is basic but gives us a great start to our day. Our only complaint is that it can be very loud. The walls are thin. We tend to go to sleep early but the family next to us stayed up late playing yhatzi and talking loudly. Luckily, I brought ear plugs. Also there's a lot of noise during the day (car alarms, carts, people walking, etc.) so it's hard to take a nap. Everything else is wonderful!

We booked this hotel based on some comments in various Disneyland groups. It was stated to have a short walk and clean rooms as well as economical prices.

Once booked, I did see some negative reviews and I got kind of worried that it wouldn't be clean or I'd be uncomfortable there. We decided to stick it out anyhow.

I'm so glad we did! The hotel was a 5-7 minute walk to the security gates at Disney. It was the perfect price point. We had a C2 family parlor which was great for our family and big enough to give us space and we could easily park a nobility scooter and toddler's full size stroller in our rooms without issue. The rooms were maybe a bit dated in appearance but who cares, they were VERY clean and comfortable. The worst part of the stay was the daily early morning trash truck that disturbed my mom's sleep. But other than that, we loved it! It was so easy to get to and from the parks! We also loved having a Denny's and IHOP on either side of us. We brought swimsuits but didn't have time to swim - that being said, I saw maintenance workers cleaning the pool daily at morning and also at night! Breakfast was modest but filling enough for park days! We especially loved the grab and go pastries. We'll definitely stay here next time!

I had no issues with the service we received and the location is wonderful, however, it is extremely noisy. We were woken up all throughout the night by various employees outside talking (we were on second floor family suite) or guests walking by. The garbage truck conveniently came at 6am every single day waking up my two year old. Our room was so bright because the shutter style blinds do not actually block any light out and the seal around our door was missing all weather stripping so it was lit up everywhere around. Impossible to get a decent nights sleep.

Rooms are dated and beds were super uncomfortable. No trash bags provided inside of the trash cans. We liked having the space of two rooms and 1.5 bathrooms, but we would not stay at the Motel again unless they do a major renovation.
