The manager used a code to unlock and open my door. I was resting in bed. When he saw I was awakened and saw him, he looked shocked. I asked him what is happening. He didn’t reply to me, didn’t explain. Just closed the door. Then the man lied and said it was never opened. He sent me screen shots showing my door opened today and I have not left my hotel room since I got back in last night. I never even got a chance to use the bathroom before the manager came into my room. Let alone go to my door and unlock it or go outside. This is so beyond not ok I have no words.

The screen shot he sent me proves my door was unlocked and opened multiple times while I was sleeping. Someone opened the door multiple times. It even has a log record of my door opened and locked last night at 9pm when I was at the movies. No where near my hotel to open the door. I did NOT It come back until about 2 in the morning and then I unlocked my door and went to bed. There is no way I locked and unlocked the door during these times.

You’re not safe here. Anything could happen to you. Be careful.

It was a great experience to stay here. The staff were amazingly kind. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, nice kitchen and smart TVs, working air conditioners, bright lights, chairs, etc. Our microwave was giving up a really foul smell from inside however staff really helped us and replaced the microwave on the same day.

My suggestion would be having a shower door. Our shower did not have any doors, only a glass that goes up to the half of the shower floor which got a lot of water on to the bathroom floors during shower. Tons of things to watch on the TV, it has Netflix, Disney+, hulu, and prime video, and regular channels. Remember not to smoke if you are a smoker, as the fire alarm went off during our stay because someone had smoked in their room. Fire rescue arrived and they were fined 250 dollars, as far as I know. The walls here are also quite thin, I could hear others talking on nearby rooms. However these were not a problem for us. The price to stay here was reasonable.

There are a couple things to do around North Shore, from supermarkets (Publix) to Denny's and other surf shops and cafes, restaurants, CVS and Walgreens, etc. are all here. About a 7 minute walk to the beach where you could spend time. There's no laundry services in the hotel however there is a coin laundromat on about a 5 minute walk. On the street you may encounter cats. Overall, it was a great stay here.

I would like to provide some explanations about the hotel. The photos provided here are of the old hotel! It's been about 2 years since the new hotel opened! It's really great, with amazing staff! The rooms have been renovated, everything is new. So the comments given here relate to the old hotel. I highly recommend this place. Whenever I come to Miami, I only stay here
