This was a really cool park, and rather interesting. I had not known it was there until a friend invited me to come out there, and when we went not everything was open but we still found plenty to do. Lots of beautiful scenery, the nature trail is very long and each part looks different.

We also talked to a gentleman on a kayak and said the river is about a mile and a half long, which was cool.

Definitely plan to come out again and bring friends out to do a photo shoot in the future.

Love walking thru here, it's a beautiful place, makes you feel your not in the city.. tons of historical information and just really cool place to go, it took me over 3 hours to walk around the community that has been restored, walk the river trails, see the bamboo tree area and even watch the movie playing about Koreshan"" I will say I don't recommend going on a super hot day it gets really hot but with the fall arriving great time to check it out.. also they accept volunteers if your in the mood there is info.to contact if your interested... I'd give more than 5 stars if I could great way to pass a day!

Quiet . Peaceful. Charming. 3 great words to describe this park. We camped for a few nights. Went kayaking on the estero river. Walked some trails. Rode our bikes through the estero preserve. Had a great time. Campgrounds are excellent ! So we'll kept! Hats off and a big thanks to All the folks who take care of the park and facilities! The bath house and restrooms were always spotless. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay !

Fee is $5 for vehicle. Went on a Saturday, only one building open. There’s no info anywhere about tours, Though there’s a sign “tours start here”. No schedule anywhere of when the buildings are open.

Small playground.
Picnic tables.
Restrooms.
Water fountains.

Overall a nice little spot to visit once.

Absolutely delighted, impeccably clean, and wonderfully tranquil. The spaces are well-defined, and the showers are consistently ready for use. The park is conveniently located near supermarkets and just a 25-minute drive from the beach. Exploring the historic houses is a delightful experience, offering ample opportunities for capturing excellent photographs. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning.

Very interesting park. Easy walk around to the different buildings. In a separate area near camp sites was a picnic area, nice pavilion and playground.

Camped site #35 ADA site. Arrived after 1pm and was firmly told no check in until 3. Parked in overflow lot and walked the settlement, touring the buildings. Once we were able to navigate the one way roads to our site, we found the elevated asphalt site with drop off difficult to deal with and narrow. The description was correct, slides may not fit. The fire pit was located near the walkway to the bath house and the ADA picnic table was down in the bushes and would have to be picked up and moved if wanted to use. Night 2 we were invaded by large ants that gathered on the electric line and had to make a run to a gas station for duct tape and bug spray. Had to spray the ground and surroundings to keep them at bay. The park signage was poor and difficult to navigate at night. The 2 trails were nice and did not take long to walk. We brought the kayak but decided not to load into the Estero river, did not look appealing. The main reason for driving the 4 hours to this campground was not the state park itself but its access to the beautiful beaches of Vanderbilt beach and Lovers Key State Park.
