This is a very nice small State Park. The beach area is beautiful, and the pier is great. They have restrooms, a playground for kids, a fishing pond, and very pretty nature walks and trails. The park appears to be well maintained and clean.

Fountainbleu State Park is home to a longstanding family Thanksgiving tradition, and it never disappoints. It’s a wonderful place to gather with friends and family, surrounded by nature’s beauty. From hiking to cycling to walking on a beach, the activities are perfect for all ages. After a day filled with adventure and bonding, there’s nothing better than sitting around a kindling fire, roasting marshmallows, and reminiscing about the memories created. Whether you’re looking for outdoor fun or simply some peaceful time with loved ones, this park is an absolute gem.

Kids enjoyed this space now for 4 year at YES camp with Mr. P. Rice. Nice, newer clean environment with lots of fun. However, the bunk beds aren’t consistent some are hard some are soft, showers get cold fast, need bigger hot water heater, overall had a nice stay for about 9 days.
Alert: tons of deers and raccoons, watch out

Took advantage of the free day pass. We were very impressed with this park. I'm 53 from the southshore all my life, and this is our first time visiting. We drove all throughout this place, and now we want to plan a trip back. The beach area was awesome! The group cabins on the outside were impressive. The single cabins on the lake (which weren't open for rent yet) looked sooo awesome! We walked a little down a hike trail, nice. The visitor's center was cool with lots of stuff. Wish they sold souvenirs! They have plenty of camping spots for tents and campers/RV. But most of all, this is one beautiful state park that makes me proud of Louisiana.

Pretty decent state park. The campground we were at was fine to set up tent at. There were fire pits that could be used.
It was a peaceful experience and it had walkable access to restrooms as well.
Overall we had a decent experience here. We could see many other campers enjoying their time.
Cheers!

I recently went to an event at Fountainebleau State Park and have been there previously many times. Each time the park did not disappoint. The event was at one of the meeting houses which was in excellent shape, had lots of free parking and outside space for a waterslide and lots of gathering spots. The beach area is ample with a swimmable, safe area. There’s a beautiful gazebo that is built into the water so you can see great views and sunsets there. There are several pavilions and picnic tables to sit and eat at. There’s also a splash pad for the little ones and lots of places to hike and explore. An entrance to the trace biking/walking trail is also at the park. There are also a variety of campsites and beautiful oaks and picture views. This place is great for families, couples or individuals for a day away or a more extended visit. The three dollar per person entry fee as well worth it, too.

I love this place, but it's hard to get a good reservation spot during certain times of the year. The bathrooms are always very clean, the park is clean and there is lots to do.

This has got to be the most beautiful state park I've been to. Long, winding road into the park that led to an area of great oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. Parked and walked out a lovely pier with a bench at the end. Took in the sites and enjoyed the lovely breeze. There was a nice beach area. A few folks were actually in the water cooling off. Large, nice clean bathhouse to use as well. Loads of trails for hiking ND biking. Nim sure there was a lit more but we just stopped in for about an hour on our way back to New Orleans
