Very pleasant stay! Owners are super awesome! Our fridge died and they were so willing to help us get things sorted out! They stopped by to check on us and everything! They have a great laundry room, like a little laundry mat! This is also a rare place that you can still see fireflies!

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our road trip this summer. Well kept cozy little camp ground. The dog park was a huge plus for us and our pups.

Site was clean and rut free - however it was not level.

Full hook ups and amenities. We’d stay here again.

This KOA is close to the highway, easy to get to, and has lots of spots that is all that I can say positively about the place. The staff is short and rude, they don't say any more than necessary. When they show you your site, you get no help or not even a thank you they just drive away. The wifi is very spotty and you can barely check your email. The bathroom and showers are dirty and look unkempt. The only way to get a fire pit is to buy their wood. To do a load of clothes it will cost you over $5 to do a load. They are over priced for the service you get.

Great location with many gas stations nearby for quick fueling, including Love’s Travel Stop among others.

Big Rig and dog friendly! Nothing fancy, but we’ll manicured landscaping and clean. Full Hook Ups, shaded sites available.

We had Site 224 which is an end site with lots of grass and shade trees. Hard packed gravel level site.

There are 2 ponds in the campground and the office has free fish food available to throw out to the fish. Couple of huge carp in there!

Great for an overnight stay. We stayed 2 nights to provision up and ck out Route 66 that goes thru Joplin. Fun!

No shower! Seriously it was lukewarm water that DRIZZLED out. I've seen better drizzle on donuts! I can't imagine what it's like when people are waiting because if you dribble some water on yourself and use shampoo it will take you ten minutes to get the shampoo your your hair, assuming you have short hair. That does not meet the definition of a shower. Worst KOA stay ever!

Showed up about 6:30 staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman seen we were in a tent and brought us some free fire wood to keep us little warmer. Site was ok wish the grass was thicker with less twigs on the ground. Other than that will stay again.

I want to share the positives first then where I think this location could improve. We had a pull through site, no real issues other than the sewer vent had no cap on it when we arrived.

Pro's
* In general the staff was prompt and kind
* The location has good access to the highway and is large and open.
* The pool was really well maintained.

Con's
* This location sits next to a large either retention pond or drainage water pond that had a foul order if you were within 100-200 ft of it.
* There were several people on the long term stay area (which I am fine with), however, in that area where we were, the yards were not well taken care of. Weed eating was not existent except more up front by the entrance. Around some of the longer term guests, the weeds were 2-4 feet tall, not a pleasant view.
* It was quite noisy being next to two major truck stop gas stations and the large plant behind the camp site.
* Although wi-fi is advertised, you are told 'no streaming'.
* The wife signal was so poor in the camper it would either not connect or be at less than 0.5Mbps. Outside the camper, we would get 2.0 Mbps to the highest I got was 12.4 Mbps. So if you need Wi-Fi, you may be hurting, and yes we were right next to a Wi-Fi antenna.
* Minor but it speaks to the overall condition of that camp. Both the American Flag and their aware flag of KOA Presidential award were both torn at the ends and not in good condition.

Overall, I would not stay here again unless these items were addressed (and yes I'm a little forgiving of the Wi-Fi as that may be the best they can get for their location). I think this camp has potential, but does need some more TLC and I do wish the owners the best of luck.

The white front door is filthy dirty hasn't been cleaned all season by the looks of it. Bathroom was dirty, a lot of it is pretty run down. A lot of sketchy trailers parked full time. Lots of interstate noise. Would not start again.
