From the very first time I visited Milo Farm and spoke with Loni, I knew this place would be special to me and my family—and it has been. It all started with the name-changing celebration for my son two years ago, and since then, we've made countless memories. From solo camping trips, family getaways, workshops, retreats, and volunteer weekends, to simply walking the trails, Milo Farm has become my safe haven. Loni, her incredible team, and this beautiful land make you feel instantly at home.

The trails are a must every time I visit, and it’s amazing to see how much they add and improve. Honestly, I would say I'm surprised by all the changes, but now that I know Loni as both a friend and family, I know the size of her heart. Her vision for Milo Farm is truly coming to life. From the AirB&B and the charming Hobbit Hut to the breathtaking star and sunset views, this place has everything for a little retreat away from home.

What makes Milo Farm so special isn't just the natural beauty—it's the people. Loni and her team genuinely care about the well-being of others and the Earth. I've grown so much from my experiences here, and I will always treasure my time at Milo Farm. Thank you, Loni, for creating such a magical, healing space.

I love Milo Farm, and the people it attracts. Loni the owner is responsible as well as giving. She is a perfect steward for this place. There is so much to explore and experience on these lands. Perfect for camping, hiking, community events and spiritual retreats. I love these sacred grounds and those who come to experience it!!

Milo Farms
The farm is a nice out of the way, country feels places with roaming donkeys , deer and cats. It has a nice feel like you’re staying at the grandparents. The place is nice and spacious with an open living space in between both rooms. Each room has its own shower; and a washer n dryer you can use as well. Now, if you want the I’m visiting the grandparents feel, then this is right up your alley because at 6:30 everyone gets up, the people above you with the walking around, talking to each other ,coughing farting and laughing, the dog barking and almost everything you would expect to hear from a family that lives above where you are staying. And I’m sure it goes both ways, so many times we would have to remind each other to talk softer as not to be over heard. I was very surprised that of all the reviews, no one ever bought this fact up, because it’s an important one, unless you just don’t care and your just as loud and like to get up early and do all the things to do that everyone else does that lives here. A lot of the reviewers said plenty about just how private it was and didn’t mention that the living room space has no curtains for privacy and that when one of the cousins that walk around the property walk through the pool area they can see everything that isn’t a bedroom, so always have a robe on or something; to be fair that only happened once. Now the place itself is nice and would be great if you want that kind of feel, but we mainly used it for a place to sleep while in town visiting others. While I do think this is better than a random hotel, it does have these drawbacks and to be fair this morning I think there is only one person above us getting ready. This isn’t a dealbreaker as long as you know what to expect when your here.

We had awesome family time in this farm stay. The morning sunrise from the pool and sunset from the freedom trail were beautiful. Our favorite were the farm animals , we could pet and feed them, the hammock row, trails, meditation under wisdom tree was magical, the kayak on the south pond was short and the pictures came out great, swimming pool was clean, temperature controlled and non slippery, our toddler loved the toy room which had games and books. The house had Two rooms and bathrooms which were designed in different ways and there were madame Alexandra international doll collection . The Buddha in the house gave a zen vibe. Two nights of stay were not enough and we needed more ? we thank Loni for sharing her house and responding to us whenever needed.

I love Milo Farm! It is a great place if you want a get-away to a place that includes nature. Many of their cabins have a themed and/or funky vibe. They have a beautiful in ground pool as well as indoor and outdoor event spaces. Totally recommend!

The spring, I rented Milo Farms for a retreat style training. It was delightful. There were a variety of different types of spaces on peoples budget and their desire for roughing it. People who wanted to stay in the main house with the bathroom had that option and other people who were interested in camping had that option.

There were tons of really great amenities like a sauna and steam room, pool, lots of magical places to explore and some really delightful donkeys.

Everyone left the retreat, feeling rested and recharged. I know that they will always have a fondest in their heart for Milo Farms and when they think about the experience will have amazing memories.

Milo Farms was the ideal place for our group of friends to have our annual gathering. Some of us love the comforts of home, while others prefer outdoors, and Milo Farms offers both, with a calming spiritual element, respect for the land and environment, and space for creativity. The animals were a delight! We gathered around the pool and the fire pit, hiked and played games, and gazed at the stars. Loni was the ideal host and even read each of our oracle cards. We’d love to come back again.

Our welcome was not the usual. My son and his family showed up 5 minutes after me and he was questioned like he was trespassing. We were all so excited to be there. That took us down a notch. I guess people can wander into that area and take your parking area. On the other hand, no one was taking our parking spots!
Its a cool place. My granddaughters (8yrs and 10yrs) loved the amazing pool! They spent as much time as possible in the pool. And they really enjoyed helping Loni clean the pool. The pool area is large and has a very nice deck area.
Its very nice inside too. Although, it was pretty cold the first night. I brought extra blankets as i had read that on a previous review. The second night the temperature dropped outside, so the air was off. That was fine except it felt just a little bit muggy.
The second day we were leaving for Worlds of Fun and the code wouldn't work on the door. It worked fine when we got there. Then Loni told me an easy trick to open the door and after that we were able to figure it out easily.
Its close to Worlds of Fun! And it felt safe.
The people visiting on the grounds were nice and friendly. Kids enjoyed the animals and the volleyball net.
We had a little trouble with making sure we're recycling and let the yellow mellow. Overall, I think we did very well and we left the place clean.
We never did figure out how to get the sauna or the steam room to work. Its a cool feature that we looked forward to. I tried several times to no joy. I'm sure it was the operator, me! Lol
Matt was super nice!! I believe hes a worker there. He was very friendly and made us feel at home.
Remember you are in the country, the crickets sounded like they were in our rooms..lol. I'm pretty sure there was a bullfrog in that mix. My granddaughters were excited by the sounds of a woodpecker close by.
We initially were told we could have a late checkout at 1pm, and then told 'no' since other people were coming in. I forgot, my bad. But fortunately we were on track to leave by 11:30.
Matt gave a very nice send off and welcomed us back.
