I absolutely would stay here again. I read some previous reviews. I thought the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The campground had a major water break during our visit at 930am. They could only give a 15 min notice. We had to get a hourly rate at the hotel next to us for $57 to take a shower. The campground reimbursed me for it. They couldn't forsee the break and I understood that. Just deal with it and move on. It is next to a new complex being built. But the workers are reasonably quiet and they do not work weekends. You can hear the highway 27 and interstate i4 but we chose this location because it was between family's residents. Also, we are here to go out & do things so we weren't hanging at the camper until night and it really wasnt disturbing. We also traveled with 3 dogs between 45lbs - 85lbs. It is a great place for our dogs as well with the dog park and wash stations. I did see in previous reviews that the dog park was nothing but dirt. It isn't like that now. It's completely covered with grass now. I'm guessing this FL heat and/or recent past drought killed the grass.

I want to start this review with: I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before because the reviews I feel aren't fair for this campground.
So. We ended up needing to switch our reservation from tent to cabin and Debra was wonderful, very understanding and helpful through our issue. The staff didn't take us to our site like other koa's but to be honest, it's an easy enough campground to figure out with the map. SO. This review is 2 parts because we stayed in a deluxe tent AND the cabin.
Deluxe tent sites: pretty ok. The plugs and sink, definitely amazing. Definitely woke up to the traffic and construction but, that's to be expected when tent camping. And the deluxe sites, staff did an amazing job. Now to the cabin. We stayed in 2, an older one and a newer one. The older one, needs SOME work, not a ton to be honest. All the cabins I feel need small 5 feet privacy fences in between. The older cabin did need a better light, it was very dim. The newer cabin, was great. We're already planning our next stay! The ONLY review I have for this particular site is: possibly have golf carts to rent and definitely need a family restroom. A lot of families would've benefited from them. But thank you to the staff for being so helpful and friendly.

We stayed in a tent site. We loved the covered Pato area with each site and being so close to the playground. They had SO much stuff for the kids to do, they never got bored. The staff was beyond friendly and the campground was clean and bathrooms were great! The only downside is being close to the freeway and hearing that all night long. Besides the freeway, it is a perfect campground for families. We will be back and definitely recommend.

CAMPER BEWARE: My family and i arrived late on friday evening for what we thought would be a fun weekend for my sons birthday but it quickly turned into a nightmare. Within 5 minutes of walking into our cabin DC04, we started spotting roaches coming out of the baseboard heater. We called the afterhours number and Sharon showed up about 25 minutes later to give us a new cabin. When she arrived the smell of marijauna was so strong coming from her car, which I found extremely unprofessional. Since she didn't have another cabin big enough for us all, she offered to have housekeeping come in but if you know anything about roaches, they don't just go away, they must be properly treated so we ended up getting put into 2 separate cabins. Cabin 2 and Cabin 3. Already paranoid about the roaches from the last place we decided to leave ALL of our belongings with the exception of the babies playpen in the car. Who h i am thankful we did because we also found baby roaches in cabin 3 but at this point it was midnight and we were all exhausted so we split up the linens provided to us and went to bed. My mother in law and wife each in separate cabins woke up covered with bites all over their bodies and as we looked, we found several bedbugs in the linens provided. We had to leave our daughters playpen behind and since we were not willing to stay another night. The next morning as we went to leave Sharon came up with several excuses and tried to tell me that its not bed bugs and shrug the whole thing off. With hesitation they finally decided to give us a refund because we refused to stay a second night. We had tickets to peppa pig park for saturday so we had no choice but to leave all our makeup in the hot car and leave all our food behind at the cabin because we had no way to keep it cool for that long since we had to shorten our stay. As the day went on more and more bites started to appear and blistering. My mother in laws bites got so bad she had to go to urgent care Sunday morning to receive steroids and medication. I was told that i would recieve a call from the manager but i didnt so my wife had to call this morning. Matt the manager on duty said they would “investigate” the issue. My wife was also told that the exterminator comes monthly but coming from a property manager background you have to specifically treat for both roaches and bedbugs multiple visits typically to get rid of them. A simple monthly spray isnt going to do the trick. She was offered a free stay at the campground but we turned it down because of obvious reasons. I have stayed at several KOAs and have never dealt with anything like this.

Ugly location surrounded by horrible traffic and noise. Apartment complex being built right across street. Unfriendly front office lady. Loud partying group in tent sites. Partied until 1 AM, no staff on site, after hours phone not monitored. Air conditioner wasn't cutting it in the heat.

The campground was a perfect location for our requirements so we decided to check it out. Upon arriving the signage was clear and accurate and during check in the folks were very friendly, informative and the overall check in process was quick and effortless. Once checked in we were escorted to our site were once again the gentleman asked if there was anything else we needed. The campground is quiet, very clean and well organized. We do recommend staying here!

You can do far better, look elsewhere. We stayed here for most of the winter. The one highlight of this KOA is the staff who works on the grounds, they are very kind. Beyond that, here were our concerns. It's not convenient to the theme parks. While it's only 10 miles to Disney, it's an hour drive due to I-4 traffic. The campground is full of full time residents who feel that you are intruding on their space. One in particular, Mike, will literally stalk you if he doesn't like you. He drives a purple golf cart if you ever go there. As others have said in their review, the front desk staff is down right rude and make it clear you are bothering them if you have a question. In particular, Deb is flat out rude and unpleasant. The staff who works the grounds all told us that's just her nature. Very poor customer service, they don't make you feel welcome. We will not be returning and recommend you go to one of the dozens of other campgrounds around.
